The Chicago Botanic Garden is one of the country’s most visited public gardens. The 385-acre Garden features 27 display gardens and four natural areas, uniquely situated on nine islands surrounded by lakes.
The Garden has a year-round calendar of family activities and entertainment, including free kids’ concerts, drop-in activities, plant giveaways, weekend family classes, and outdoor family entertainment, while also offering children the chance to explore outdoors. The Chicago Botanic Garden is one of Chicago’s premier attractions, where visitors walk, enjoy nature photography, and celebrate each season with outdoor and indoor activities for families and kids of all ages.
In addition to horticultural displays, the Garden presents a wide variety of exhibitions, including fine photography and an array of artwork. Click here for a map of the Garden’s Regenstein Center, where most exhibitions take place.
